How to Get a Copy of a Long Beach Accident Report
Getting a copy of your Long Beach accident report is easy, and there are a few different ways you can do so.
In Person
You can request and pick up a copy of your Long Beach accident report in person at the Long Beach Police Department. To submit your request, you must fill out an application for release of accident report information. You can print this form out online or fill it out at the station. Remember to bring a valid form of personal identification, such as a social security card or driver’s license.
The Records Inquiry Desk at the Long Beach Police Department is open Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm, and Saturday, from 9:00am – 1:00pm.
By Mail
You can also request your Long Beach accident report by mail. To do so, print and fill out the application form mentioned above on the Long Beach Police Department website. Make sure to send the request in a self-addressed envelope and include a copy of a personal ID. The records department will need your address to send your report back to you.
